shooting against the light - really interesting mood here. I dig it - i might try a BW version as well.
I did do one in B/W. As for shooting into the sunrise, thats all I could do. This is on private property and I am shooting from about 50 meters away. I did shoot this same spot the evening before at sunset, but did not have the fog that I wanted
Here is the B/W

The reason i suggested a BW for shot 1 is because the colour red was stealing a bit of the show. This shot more about mood than colour.
As for shot 2.....wow - shot 2 wins. Get thee to a framery. My niggly butt might chop 1-2 millimeters of the left side and burn in the triangular looking shape at top right 5-10%, so the edge has more meat. That's it.
Love this comp. Awesome processing job. Although I suggested BW, I think this sepia works better. Well done sir!
I decided to just get rid of the triangle at the top right, plus I did a little clean up of some random weeds

I like it but there is a bit more contrast than the last version - also the weeds worked, they were not distractions they added precious little details, imo.
The ethereal quality of the fog comes out more in the lower contrast image.....for me; now we are at personal taste stages.
Ruins 3 for me. Nice mood!
