Big bum

I don't want this car either anymore ... she spun it out last night on a roundabout. I got the call about 10 minutes after I'd hit the sack and had to drive out, check the car over, and then follow her home at 40 kph because she'd hammered one of the wheels under. A lesson learned about rainy roads I hope.

Damn the car, nothing but hurt feelings on her part we hope?

Oh yeh. I got the call ... "Dad........ now don't get upset or anything but ... well ... I'm fine .... but .... well .... I kinda spun out in my car and hit a gutter."
"Sounds more like you definitely spun out and hit a gutter"

" No one hurt?"
"No Dad ... we are fine"
"And the car?"
"I bent it"
"You bent it ... how?"
"The wheels all funny now"
"All funny how? Is it telling you jokes or something? Or is it in the back seat?"
"Just kind of bent in a bit and sticking out at the top"
"Rotate it until it's right and then drive home"
"Yeh right Dad!"
"I have to get out of my warm bed and drive in the rain and look at this thing don't I?"
