Keep to the right!
When driving on Mexican roads it's always better to "keep to the right" because sometimes the bigger guys tend to "keep to the middle".
This photo was taken on "Highway 200" North of Lazaro Cadenas on a segment of road where there are more than 10 severe curves to the kilometer. Very lucky if you can average 50 km/hr... but the scenery is SUPERB.

No Guard or fence to block the view. A mere white line here and there separates the road from the scenery...

That 2nd shot is a beauty.

A little more North on the same road, there are banana plantations. I stopped to ask a Mexican why all the bananas were covered with plastic bags. He explain it is to keep a variety of spyder from laying their eggs in the flowers. When this happens the newly born spyders render the bananas worthless.

Thanks MA This is the Pacific Ocean... Mexico is blessed with this sort of scenery all along the West Coast.

All nice stuff Z...seeing that truck coming around the corner like that would freak the Bejebus outta me!

Shot 2 is spectacular! I see now why you like it down there so much! :)

Thanks Casil, it is indeed part scenery that keeps me down here but it is mostly the perpetual sunshine with 30+ degrees that really do it.

I love the pictures. they allow me to vicariously enjoy the sunshine. :)
I love the second picture!

Cool stuff. I especially like the first with the red green and yellow.
