not so much sick as practical (at least that's how it's viewed). Barbed wire is a cheap, low maintenance method of fencing that works well for cattle. It's a disaster to use for horses because they just will wreck themselves on it. Not something I would ever have on a property of mine! However, around here you have to be careful as no ever bothers to remove it. This particular strand was above a rock wall separating a meadow from the woods. I suspect it's been there for over a decade.Quote:
