This is my take on the now decaying Camlachie Roller Rink. Once a rural going concern in my youth. Camp Kenny, a YMCA camp for kids was located on the other side of the road from the roller rink. I never did, but some of the older campers would, sneak over to have fun at the rink late at night when most of us were asleep. I can still hear the late 50's tunes playing, the sounds, the laughter and the smell of the food all these years later. Soon this will all be gone. I will be sad to see it go!
This looks like it could be out of a well preserved but old paper. It's sad to see stuff just piled up. The skates look like they're in good shape on the surface, but I bet that's just an illusion. Nice work, and I hope you get a chance to get a bit more before the building is gone.
I like this one, has a very nostalgic feel to it and well shot.
