January 2014 - Level 2 photography assignment - Candle light

Hi members,

The first level 2 assignment of 2014 is candle light. Feel free to interpret it any way you wish.

I had spotted these candles when I visited the Kuan Yin Temple (Goddess of Mercy Temple) in George Town a couple of days earlier and had actually incorporated them in another image. When I saw the theme for this months assignment I knew I was going back (the day before I returned to Australia).

i like the absolute blacks in barefoots image and candle arrangement above. here's mine I received that horse cart full of lindor from my in-laws during my wedding :)

Thanks Mike and Marko. Pretty simple to set up, but complicated to photograph. I was surprised to find the halo.
