I had spotted these candles when I visited the Kuan Yin Temple (Goddess of Mercy Temple) in George Town a couple of days earlier and had actually incorporated them in another image. When I saw the theme for this months assignment I knew I was going back (the day before I returned to Australia).

This old piece of AI-S glass (135mm 2.8) has been not much more than a paper weight for the last few years, so…what the heck?

I found these candles in a box in our garage waiting for this assignment.
