Keep yanking them, you are doing a wonderful job. Wish I had your guts and do it. Very nice image, indeed. Full of expression.
Thanks Matt, I appreciate your time and comments.
It's really not that hard, you see someone on the street, introduce yourself and then kindly asked them in for a quick portrait.
Beautiful work!
Your forte' is certainly portraits Ernst! Beautiful.
When I grow up, I want to shoot portraits like this
What the guy above me said. Beautiful work Ernst!
Way cool - totally dig the expressions and BW!
Beautiful. The stares are intense! Really, really nice.:thumbup:
Thanks everyone. It's a fun project.
From this morning.
This pair seem to be a more fun-loving pair and, again, nicely captured. It certainly looks like a fun project.
Also, I was wondering, and forgive me if you've answered this already, do you give them a free print or digital copy? Do you get them to sign a model release?
I never give away a digital file, matter of fact I rarely sell them either. My regular customers need to buy portriats from me. The day I start selling digital files only is the day I really need to retire. ;-) I do offer these folks a FREE BW FineArt Portrait 9X6 printed from my Epson 3800 with Hanemuhle Fine Art Paper. I post these on Facebook with their permission and I don't have them sign a model release. Now if I was going to use their image for advertising/marketing then I will contact them for that release.

Loving all of them.
the series continues.... excellent work :)
Love that masked bandit!
As usual some very interesting, well composed and perfectly exposed work Ernst. One day I'm going to have to jump on the ferry and come over and have a chat.
Awesome series Ernst, lovin' every one of them. So many different walks of life shown in your work.
Nice! And the masked bandit is a special treat.
Two victims from today.
