Northen Alberta
I noticed this nice sky as I was traveling through Northern Alberta. I needed something in the foreground and when I stumbled upon this old farm I figured I could make it work. I tried a number of different angles and lenses. I wasn't all that happy with the results. Here are two of the photos. Any comments or tips on improving them would be great. Or suggestions for next time. Thanks!

excellent drama here - dig the monochrome treatment big time.
-
I think they're both decent, compositionally, but I find the processing to be a bit forced, especially in the clouds & sky. Maybe easing off the contrast would bring and edge of realism back to them. if that's what you were going for.
-
I really like both of these and would leave them as is, adds drama to the photos.
-
You certainly achieved cool results ... I like them. Possibly a tad dark ... but excellent anyhow.
-
I like these and believe the 'darkness' adds drama and since there are still highlights it works for me.

Thanks for taking the time to give me feedback. Points well taken.

very well made, love the dramatic feel to them

Love the first one. It has a feeling of impending doom and a felling of ominousness ( is that a word?)
-
Love the moods in both of these. So very well done. Would not change a thing on either one.

Amazing work here! Wow, thsoe BW are breathtaking!!

Great dramatic shots. I like the PP very much, even if it is quite heavy. Perhaps it's an optical illusion but my eyes seem to see diagonal lines going in both directions in both photos. Some of them are rays of sunlight I believe, but what are the ones going the other way (if they really exist outside of my brain ...)

Love the dramatic sky...really creates a mood here!

I think these are pretty cool. Aside from adding a hint of drama, the clouds also lend a dark feel to the scenes. The monochrome suited these images perfectly.
