View From The Backyard
I've taken dozens of photos from the vantage point of my daughter's backyard. This one had the same problem with haze of the hills and mountains. Dehaze alone in Lightroom does not work. And lots of trial and error and the right profile, I am approaching a better balance in tone between the foreground, the mountains and Sky. Overcast days are hard enough to work with as it is. Oh,...Okanagan Valley, B.C.

Sky looks amazing - and i dig the overall comp.
For me this looks about 1 stop underexposed and we feel it most in the shadows.

The original was tonally flat. I did process it with Lightroom on some steroids. Here's a JPEG of the original unprocessed raw file. You see how the haze over mountains flattens the tone.

Here's a similar one. Clouds done a little more dramatically. Right now, that is about as much contrast as I can squeeze out of something that tonally flat.

For the one above, I tried increasing exposure, and raising contrast, but I didn't like it.
