Horseshoe Bend, Page, AZ
I learned a VERY valuable lesson on my trip, make sure your equipment works before leaving home. I get to this canyon and realize my 27-70mm 2.8 will not communicate with my camera, leaving my to shot a horizon shot with a fisheye.

Great scene, but to my eye this shot is quite underexposed.
Also, I not sure if it is my work monitor but there seems to be some banding in the sky. I will look again at home tonight on a better monitor

I agree w/MA's critique - despite it though - I still like this dramatic image....and appreciate the advice for sure!

None of my shots from Horseshoe Bend are worth a damn because I had to use the 15mm fisheye. My 27-70 was broke and my nifty-fifty was too long.
I was there at sunset and facing due west. There was a couple photographers there that were using 1/2 tinted glass to get the correct exposure. The stuff they were producing was amazing.
