Wouldn't suggest anyone should trade in perfectly good rigs just to try something out, but I'm sure you'd agree that people replace worn out DSLR equipment everyday. Even if you would replace yours with another of like kind if the necessity arose I'd have to think that investing $$$ in something on its way out may not be the wise move.
People had a hard time letting go of their rangefinders, too.![]()
I don't need a Canon R5 but I definitely want a Canon R5. The technological advances are so tempting. Luckily (and/or sadly) I can't afford one right now. If only my wife didn't want to renovate the house. Hmmm. Maybe next year? The arguments go on in my head....

my problem is I'm grumpy and upset that no interface was made between the old (last 10 years) Nikon DSLR lenses...which are perfect and cost a fortune....and new mirrorless cameras.
Buuuuut things change...maybe I'm off I'm researching less.....Is there any way I can use my Nikon lenses on a mirrorless?

The 2 things I do like about the newer mirrorless cameras are the articulating screen and the ability to touch focus!
