Looks like a really cool place to get some wonderful landscapes. Quite a view you've captured here. I would like to have seen the horizon straightened out as I feel like I'm tipping to the right. The clouds are awesome and I think you've achieved the "monotone pop" you were looking for as there's a fair bit of contrast in what looks like a great time to have been shooting but there's an awful lot of noise in the image which kinda ruins it for me. And last, for this image I don't think putting the horizon in the middle works well.
I quite like this shot. The sky and horizon look great. I agree with iggy on the image sloping right though. If it were mine, I might crop out some sky to give the image more 'balance'. Hope that helps - Marko
I did a little bit of work on it and here's how it came out. For those who do a lot of editing, is it best to run noise reduction software before applying monotone filters? Some are designed to add a bit of noise too for a grainy look, so maybe that was the issue. I don't think it kills the image though.

I much prefer shot 2 as it definitely feels more balanced to me......except for one thing...it's too small :)
Ah, well I posted in another forum and someone asked me to make them smaller. As long as people don't mind, I'll try to make the images I post a little larger than. Thanks!
