This is a shot of my son throwing a daisy. I desaturated the picture and then boosted up the yellows and some of the other colors in his shirt. Does that help the picture of not?

I am not wild about the colour play here. it's a cute shot though so keep working with it. Or if you love it, then it's fine :)
It looks like a dandelion to me though.
I actually like the colours here.
For me it's the position of the boy - the 90 degree angle to camera and the fact that he's looking totally outside the frame (but not at anything or anyone in particular) is not working for me - I'm not feeling the sense of interaction in this shot. So for me, even though I quite like the colour work, it does not help the shot enough.
Marko said pretty much exactly what I was thinking. I too kind of like the colour play. I'll add that I would cut about of 1/5th of the image off the top to get rid of the street as it's distracting to me.
