Question - what did you do to get image 2 'larger' ?
The proportions of the model are different in the 2 shots. The model looks bigger and takes up more room in the the retouched shot.
How did you do this and why?

Looks to me like the second image is cropped a little (left side and bottom side), but resized to the same dimensions for web output, so the subject is bigger in the frame...

any post processing on a RAW image will make it look better...
this is not to take away any of PP skills of malechi.... he/she has done a fine job here...
I am only mentioning this because the Raw image on the left is in no way finalized for viewing... IMO a more accurate comparison would be to use a camera created JPG vs a finalized RAW..
having said that LR2 is a great program.... the local brush skin smoothing is a wonderful tool.... you can also locally dodge/burn using data from the image in lieu of a lossy dodge/burn tool...
it's also very fast...
