Yeah, great shot. I agree on the catchlight comment, and I think I'd prefer a little extra space on the right side of his poochness, rather than cutting into his left side, and his left paw being very close to the edge of the frame.
But I really like the sense of depth here, and the exaggeration of features - what focal length were you using on this one, Marko? Pretty wide and close in?
Great texture and colours as well.
Thanks for the comments - I agree on the catchlights and on the tight crop on the right side (doogers move around fast so I missed it by an inch or 2)
Exif data - F4.0 1/1250 ISO 500 Focal length 45mm on my 28-75mm Zoom
Thx - Marko
To me, the BG is too bright compared to the dog, and I generally miss some darker parts. Otherwise, great shot, love the depth :)
Hmmm, I like it but yes there is a but lol, I just find that one leg showing instead of two is distracting, I would have like to see both legs or neither. The left side of the face seems to lack just a tad bit of detail in the dark areas. Just my :twocents: but I just love the look of that dog, my kind of dog ...
Very Cool! You gotta love a bulldog! Of course, that's coming from someone who has one.
