Nothing's bad, but I do think the dark areas image right could do with a little dodging to lighten up just a bit.
I agree, very well done shot. But I wonder if the top left corner is a little over exposed or maybe it is my monitor.
Really nice photo !
good
-good contrast and detail
-nice mood
-good DOF
-exposure is right on
-nice reflection colors
nit
-to much FG (rightside trees) is overpowering the other nice elements in
the photo, the pebbles and stones on the shoreline would have been
enough
note: when you take a photo look for other photos inside your main
photo, there is another photo in there on the far shoreline on the left,
the long reflected lights in the water with the shoreline would make a cool
50/50 photo, just use a zoom to zoom in on that area, hope this helps

thx for all the advice everyone, everything you guys have said since ive joined the forum has really helped me out.
I did a crop as suggested, it does work well
The cropped shot is fantasic. Very professional.
You capture the moment.
The original was decent except for the poorly lit rock in the right hand corner. Again, very nice.
WOW what a difference ! Great job. I am glad I could help. I hope this
way of seeing opens up a whole new world for you. That is why photography
is called "the art of seeing".

:highfive: on Dwayne's suggestion!! Shot 2 is far superior to shot 1.
Shot 1 is very well composed but had too great an exposure range which left the foreground underexposed.
Thx guys, im really getting into this hobby quickly, my Christmas wish list is full of things I want now like filters. All the advice is really great, one day when I know more ill be happy to help others too.
