Deadman's Creek - Trans-Canada Trail

Here's one I'd be interested in getting some feedback on:

F-Stop: f/13.0
ISO: 200
Focal Length: 18mm
Lens: 10mm - 20mm Sigma f/4.0-5.6
Metering: Pattern

BW conversion in Photoshop CS3.

In a word - - GREAT
Personally I love it - - wish their was anything live in the shot .. any animal at all.. but none the less it is just beautiful I think.

Nice image, good composition, and exposure, but I'm not fussed about the treatment. Yellow snow doesn't work for me; I'd much prefer black & white.

I don't see yellow here....It looks sepiaish on my monitor.

MVT - is there a cast on your monitor? if so what colour?

Thanks All. Hi Marko, yes it's sepia toned. No colour cast on my monitor (at least I don't think so). I calibrate monthly :D

Can you also describe how you converted to b/w and got this LOVELY subdued shade of sepia?

i like this too.. maybe it would be better if you took like 3 or 4 steps to the right and that way you avoid a little bit of the stuff in the bottom left of the photo, which is only slightly distracting. that would also give a different, diagonal, line for the water. it would be a different composition for sure, maybe wouldn't work at all, just throwing it out there.. and then of course you could get lower for yet another perspective. :) so I'd step to the right and get low and see how that comes out. cause the exposure and sepia and all that works well. or am I not making any sense? :)

what a cool shot- I really like the way you've got a focal point- the water leading to the little gap in the brush. Good stuff. Nice in B&W too.
