Off the top of my head, maybe have included the entire hand then convert to black and white but still have the wedding band in colour.
ETA: I like that it's a close up, have always wanted to do a shot like this :)
I like it as is but ..
I wouldn't have cropped that top finger.
Also I think I would have applied some sharpening to the ring itself. - retracted comment
The ring is actually alot sharper than that this picture shows...on my computer the image entirely is sharper. Mad Aussie - check out my portfolio, look at that image of this same photo compared to this one. You'll see what I mean. Even that image doesnt show the sharpness that I see on my own computer.
Yes a direct link from Flickr, Photobucket etc seems to display a sharper image here.
Does that look better?

This takes too much work for me. It hinders my ability to display a quality image and also hinders everyone elses ability to give a solid critique. I usually skip this part and assume of some degradation due to resizing images for the web. This image I like a lot. The concept is great but I wish I could have seen the whole hand. Four fingers just isn't enough, and if your going to take one out, I would take most out and get even closer(assuming you have the capability) and reveal just the bottom two. All in all it is a good picture and worth sharing.
PS - Nice to see your watermark is different from MA's. You dont want to get your work messed up with his junk! :highfive:
A few more minutes to ensure you're presenting your photo as best you can helps I think. I often think a lot of your photos look soft. I put it down to the lens or camera settings more than your ability to produce a sharp image. But maybe you're doing better than I thought and I just can't see it. I think Chantelle's image shows quite clearly that attaching an image through this forum displays a reduced quality as opposed to linking to FLickr for instance.
