Bluebird

Captured recently in my backyard. Slight dodging on some of the darker birdhouse areas.

It's a cute photo. Lovely colors in the bird. The only thing I see is that it seems to me that the bird isn't in focus but the wood beside it. Maybe that is just me.

Yup, the focus is off. Love the comp and colour of the bird, on the other hand.

On my monitor I also see a blueish/greenish cast in the bark of the tree, but the real issue as mentioned is the softness of the eye.

He's a cute little guy! Love the colour he is.

I think Marko has hit it well with saying the eye needs to be sharp even if the feathers aren't.

I also can see a greenish tinge to the timber. Some timbers do have that I guess so perhaps it's correct. I don't see anything that should be difinitively white so I can't be sure.
