I guess someone might find something they think could have been done better, but you wont hear any complaints from me. Fine Job!
Oh c'mon BF ... try harder mate ;) Every photo can be improved in someones eyes :)
It IS a nice shot though.
But ... and there's always a but right? ;) I think cropping the front airplanes propellor off has lessened the strength of the image in my opinion. I'd have liked to have seen the whole prop of that first plane.
I reckon a burn across those clouds would make them a bit more dramatic also.
Angle wise I think it's good ... may have been a bit more interesting if you had the camera down by your feet and took this one to show us a bit more of the undersides of the wings and more sky. However, that would have made for less water and reflection so maybe not. I'd have taken it both ways just to be sure.
Still ... nice image!
I like it as is. Like MA said more of the front plane prop would make it better....if there are no distractions in what has been cropped off. I'd like to see a shot the brings the line of the plane in to stronger alignment by stepping to the right. This would also help get more of the prop.:twocents:
I like this shot too.
For variety, I may have actually raised my angle just a tad to get more mountain range. Also I know this is warm light but I'm finding the ornagey cast in the white plane just a bit too orangey. Hope that helps - Marko
Ok...Ok. Yeah, I would like to have seen the entire prop also, but I can never be sure if something prevented showing what I would like to have seen.
The only other thing I would have worked on would be to have removed the orange cast on the planes. Simple enough to do and it would improve the image even if it was what Lovin saw when the image was captured.
All of that aside, I just want to say again that I really like the shot.
Hmmm... I like the warm, morning light. I think it sets the mood for the image. What I think might have made an already strong image better was a shooting position a little further to your right to include more of the front of the first aircraft and bringing them into more of a line.
Thank you all !
I can't go further to the right, cause I have to swim :)
Is the end of dock and my camera is not splash proof :)
I've taken the picture at sunset, Vancouver Downtown-waterfront.
I'll try a better angle, or more angles today.
Cheers ! :highfive:
Ok, I found a different picture in my library, and did a quick edit.
Compositionally speaking, this is a better image. All of the right wing and prop in the frame as well as the flag blowing in the wind. :highfive:
