Old Building

A picture I took of an old building - would like to know if it works or not. I haven't done anything with the pic - I just really liked the look of the old building - so any editing thoughts would be great.

Imo, this shot seems too busy to me, I don't find that it 'works'.

Hey, Skyblue. I like where you were going with this one but what's missing for me is the subject. I just see some old looking boards nailed together. You were there and had the advantage of seeing the entire building. There's not enough in this photo to tell me that. The photo could stand on it's own if you had a pattern or some interesting textures in the wood but as it stands it kind of leaves me feeling flat.

Thanks for your comments - I do see what you are all saying. I guess initially I thought the green through the window was an interesting constrast to all the weathered boards.

You're welcome. Don't discount your vision. You are right, it is an interesting contrast. It just wasn't apparent that the subject of the photo was of those contrasting elements.

for me it does not work. I am sorry. There is nothing to see there.
