boy the guys on this board have old fashioned taste in shoes.
An interesting idea, and well composed. A couple of small niggles; (1) The rose appears past its prime, with some interesting colour fringing on the petals, and (2) The blown highlights in the upper area could use some attention. I think this could be much improved with some more dramatic lighting. As-is, it's perfectly lit if you were showing it in a shoe catalogue, but I'm seeing this a more low-key shot, with some long shadows. Think "snoot".
:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:
I too like this shot.
TI - gives good critique here though I can't be sure that colour fringing isn't just a flower past its prime.
My primary suggestion would be lighting. The lighting here is nice and even but the subject matter is yearning, begging, pleading, for some shadows and a whip. :D
This and the other shoe photo would be a lovely pair hung on a wall. :)
Thank you for your all advices.
In my head I am already planing a third picture -and then I'll tell you, who really has had danced in these shoes!
P.S.: tirediron was right: The last rose wasn't the freshest one - so I used in only this part a little bit "fractalius". Seems it works at least on Marco ;-).
