snow berries

Heres some recent shots I took in my backyard. Critiques are welcome.

I really like the second one of the set. The other two I found the the berries a bit too far spread out, nice photos still but with the second one in the set it really stands out and the blue sky seems almost outline the shape of the berries. Very nicely done, as allows just an amateur so take all I say with a grain of salt lol.

You need to be much closer using a macro lens or close up diopters and you need to bring out the red colour in the berries, by natural light, flash, or postprocessing.

Tegan

I like the first shot the best as the other 2 have backgrounds that seem to compete for attention with the berries in the foreground. I think by darkening the brighter areas of the background a wee bit, the foreground berries will 'pop' even more.
