I like this one Jas! You made the building look SO impressive.
I might burn the lower right edge 20-25% if there's still meat to burn.
Aside from that...nothing - it rocks.. Nice HDR too, I like this level of HDR.
Hope that helps - Marko
I would agree levels seem just right.
Would not like to be crane driver imagine climbing that every day!
To make this a bit stronger, I'd dodge the darker parts of the clouds a little to lessen the halo effect up that left hand side of the building.
I find leaving halo in place rarely looks good to me. I used to have the same halo's on my HDR's too but work really hard to remove them now. Unless I think it creates a cool effect that fits with the shot.
I often find using the dodge or burn tool just makes the photo look grey and muddy/messy. So how do you do that and get a good result?
I usually try dodge but if it's not working I layer one of the priginal bracketed shots under the HDR and then blend the sky though. Once blended through I can adjust the curves on that new layer to bring it to where I need.
Blending? As in eraser tool or ?
You can but the eraser isn't a good option really ... layer masking is better. If you go to my Blog and look at the Selective Sharpening page under Resources, you'll see how I do it.
Ok, will do.
