The Golden Hour

Hello All,

Was out this evening during the "Golden Hour" and shot this, I love it.
Would like some feedback to see if anybody else feels the same ?.

I must admit this compressed version doesnt look as good as the higher quality one !:confused:

I am not feeling it.. The is a lot of darkness on the bottom and I think it is all a bit too dark. Just my opinion.

I like it! I like the intricate branches, I like the colour transitions of black to orange and I like it's simplicity. :thumbup:

However, the fact that you love it is worth far more then my opinion. ;)

I like the shot but the tones here are indeed compressed;it's dark overall - it could look more 'golden' with some extra pp play though.

Nice composition ... the tree has made a nice focal point against the sunset. The heavy clouds above are a great inclusion as well.

I'm fond of these sorts of shots as you may know.

Marko is right, this can be better with some more PP.
The blacks are not black enough ... they look a bit muddy to me. I would go use the levels or curves tool and push both the light and dark ends in a bit to create more contrast.
