Horse pic

I took my daughter for her riding lesson today. She had the horse facing the back of the stall where the window is. I thought that the way the sun was shining in would make for an interesting photo.

Very nice. Great capture.

I like this - VERY moody.

I may have chosen to move a little more in front of the horse (if possible) - but I still like what you've done here.

I was thinking that it was probably too dark. I couldn't get in front of the horse, her nose was close to the wall.

IMO I think the image is underexposed even though the intention is to create mood with it. Not sure how you would fix it... if you used bounce flash you would negate the lovely lines on the face. A tripod and a longer exposure?

This picture wasn't planned. My daughter was untacking the horse after her lesson and I was taking shots of that then I noticed how the sun was shining on the horse so I took a shot. Well, took a few actually and this is the one that came out the best. The darn horse wouldn't hold still lol
I was using the flash that is on the camera. I don't have an external flash.
