Printing
Hello everyone! its been a long time! I hope all is well, the site looks fantastic as always!
anyway, i recently was given a few frames, 5x7 and 8X10. Now i must fill them with pictures right? My only thing is, i have no clue how to go about this. I have never gotten as far as actually printing and framing my photos. How do i get my pictures in these frames without distorting the crap out of them?
I am completely lost, and worried i may have an archive of files that are useless to 5X7 and 8X10 lol

In order to create a print that does not crop off large chunks of your photo to fit the frame, the easiest thing to do is create a border around the photo and proportion it to fit the size of frame you want to use.

Basically, when I do it I create a border around the photo that is bigger then I need, then crop the photo to the exact print size I will be using. Other then that that another option is to print the photo to a native (Proportional) size that is smaller then your frame, about (6X9) and have custom matts made to fit the photo and frame.
