Here is where the challenge lies. I managed 133 days in my second attempt at a Project 365. It's HARD to do!

Day 14, this is a pretty much a one to one crop of a photo taken with the 35 mm. No close up filter attached.

Nice lighting on the enchantment of the seas, Iggy!
Today...day 15 halfway through:
I couldn't decide between the safe shot and the afternoon shot so I am posting both:
Safe shot - fountain taken early this morning

Afternoon shot: Bolts under the overpass

Day 16:
Rain on the Train

Nice one, casil. I love the focus on the rain drops. Did you do selective colouring in black and white or was it just that grey a day?
Day 16 - Morning Flowers

Hey - somehow I missed this thread. That's a very cool idea and your pictures are so great and cool. You are a very busy bunch of photographers! ;-)
Sorry, MoinMoin but I'm not starting over!
Movin' on with Day 17 - Standing in the Rain

Day 17 a trip to K Country.
Yes....sigh...we had snow today...summer is over.

Yup.....snow indeed Iggy...even in Calgary proper! :headslap:
stunning photo C. even with snow. but I can handle snow (as long as it stays west ;) )
Day 18 Morning at Fish Creek as seen through a web:

Ps...thanks B!
Lisa this is brilliant. I like this one the best of all the web photos you posted today. The larger drops bring the out of focus area into focus. This will win you a prize in a contest sometime IMO. Mike
Very cool, casil! Nicely done. The web almost looks like a piece of glass.
Day 18 - Over the Edge
Got the opportunity to go shoot the Easter Seals' Drop Zone today. This was the view I got as I leaned out over the edge of the building. Don't worry, I was in a harness :)

Thanks for the very kind words Mike and Ig. Wow...Iggy...did you do it? I know I couldn't...makes me get vertigo just looking at your shot!
really neat view Iggy. What building were you hanging from?
No, I wasn't allowed to the the rappelling. You have to raise $1500+ to get the opportunity to rappel down the side of the building. I did, however, climb up and stick my head and camera over the side to get shots of them as they went down. This is 1801 Hollis St. building. 87 meters high or 285 feet in the air. Honestly, it freaked me out a bit. :)
Oh, and I have to admit, this isn't my 70-300mm lens :(
Day 19:
The C-Train arrives to take me to work:

Very cool, casil!
Day 19 - Grey evening after a grey day
Attachment 9634
I like this Ig...it has a mood to it with the blur. :)
Yippee 2/3 of the way there!
Desperation shot for day 20.... lackluster day for sure but at least I got something.

Very cool, Casil. Nice image for a "desperation shot". I too had one of those days though. Left work with a pounding headache but managed to smile when I saw this little girl while waiting for the bus.
Day 20 - Playing in the Wind
Attachment 9644
That is a sweet shot Ig.....love the movement in her hair:)
Day 21...9 more days to go...Final countdown. Lillydale Chicken processing plant and the trailer cages they keep the chickens in on the way to meet their maker and become dinner.
I just about hurled trying to get this shot..the smell of dead chicken/meat/carcass was everywhere...can't really describe how bad it was.. but it was about as horrible as you can imagine. I guess you had to be there.
It's a dark and dreary day here in Calgary and today I wanted a shot that would reflect that.

Day 21 - Norwegian Dawn
Attachment 9654
Just terribly uninspired to shoot today...so went across the street and shot the cenotaph in light and shadow.
It is as good as it gets on day 22.
http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/m...-going-get.jpg
It's been a real chore, eh what? It's a nice image but I can tell your heart wasn't in it. I did another one of my lunch time photo walks today and had a photo buddy to help inspire me. Here's my shot for today...
Day 22 - Egeria
Attachment 9664
She's a beauty, Iggy!
I admire your tenacity in this guys. It's inspiring to me :)
Yeah...the last couple of days have been tough on me as well. Sometimes I just want to take a break from shooting so in that way it has been a bit draining. However, I have learned so much about this lens and the way to use it. It is far from as gimmicky a lens as everybody seems to think it is and I think the photos I've posted over the last 23 days have proven that it really is much more versatile than people think. :)
Day 23 - Two Towers:
Another day of struggling but I managed to pull off something half decent I think!
