RAW and/or JPEG

Think I'll stay with the JPEG until I'm ready and set up to handle the RAW...best to just learn the camera first :)

Ha ha..funny what a little time does for yah!

Shoot only in RAW now. Except for those family snap shots because I find it a looooong process to get those snap shots processed and up on the web for family viewing if in RAW.

So RAW or RAW and JPEG is what I use.

For those that haven't shot in RAW..take the time.

This is one of the most talked about forum posts I think, right next to Nikon vs. Canon.

I shoot in both at different times. I normally always shoot in JPG now. I decide on location what I am going to shoot. If I think there will be a question on exposure for the day, such as it's a bright day and I am shooting things together that are light and dark (such as a bride and groom) then I shoot RAW. If I am shooting a portrait session, I normally shoot JPG. It really depends on what kind of quality I need and how many shots I am shooting. An hour long portrait session that is going to net $300 is not the same as the $3000 wedding. I make the decision based on my time and payment as well as what quality I need. If I have any question on the exposure though, I usually switch to RAW to be safe.
