A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
Cool. Let's go! To that end, I'll disagree with October only because it can start getting cold in some areas and I'd rather do it on a nice day
September 25th is likely to be a beautiful Saturday, or does it need to be a weekday? That's 3 full months to get things organized. Is that enough time? If there are no dissenters then September 25th it is. This would make it the 4th Saturday in September - an annual event.
We need someone to manage the web site. I cannot commit to that. Any takers? Preferably someone who already knows how to run a website. Marko?
I have started up a Flickr group: Flickr: PublicPhotography.org
I am okay with September too.....I think it has to be on a weekend day.. that has to be a must in order to get a turnout.
Agreed...lets get going and make this thing happen.![]()

September also works for me. Now kat has offered her hubby to do the logo or help us with it and I think we should take her up on the offer. I like the camera dial idea maybe he can take the name and the dial and give us something to work with? I have no idea on this name on how to make a logo for it so I am very open to help. The website design we should have one person do it and then put it up for opinions to fine tune it. I think both of these can be done without much fuss and lets decide to get at least the logo done because we want it and I feel we should use the one logo across the spectrum from website to any marketing we do, it should be all encompassing for our look and feel. Ok no issues if we throw the logo to kat's hubby? Good. No problems with the date? Let us give that one day so those who are not around yet have a say but unless there is a compelling reason we should stick to the date Iggy suggested. Logo is the next main item, it will be needed to design the website around it is my feeling but if someone thinks they can start the site without it great. Saturday morning the latest on these decisions in my opinion, if no one has an issue by then we assume they agree and we move forward. A Saturday is the best day to hold these events in my experience.

Here's an idea...Note that I suck for design so it would have to be done by someone knows what they're doing, kat???
But I thought I'd give whomever it is something to start with for an idea....
