I'm also from Montreal, my name is Marie. I have had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember and recently decided to expand my interest. I'm going to start a beginner's class very soon, that pretty much covers basic photographic skills. I am very excited!!! I'm going to purchase a new camera within the next couple of weeks and was hoping to get some suggestions here. Preferably I want a 35mm dSLR, that is user friendly and not too costly. I was looking at the new Nikon D60 which looks fun but my knowledge of cameras right now is limited. I'm wondering if I should consider other models, used or brand new? any help would be appreciated!
