Hi from the North!

Hello!
I am new to this forum and I'd like to introduce myself. I am an engineering student from Norway, and I currently live in Svalbard, some Arctic islands way up north.

I recently got my first DSLR and it is a Canon EOS 550D. I got the 18-135mm kit lens with it. I also bought a 50mm f/1.8 II for portraits, and a Sigma 10-20mm USM for some extra wide angle to my pictures.

I like landscape photography alot and when i return to the Norway mainland after new years i hope to get some great shots of the mountains when the sun returns after the winter. I hope to see some nice lighting and some dramatic mountains.

That is all for now, I will try to be as active in this forum as i can. I have been listening to the podcast for quite some time now and I thought i might join the forum as well!
