Hi members,
The level 2 assignment this month is texture.
(Just as an FYI, one of the best types of light to achieve texture is sidelight.)
Ok then, who will post first?

Interesting... reminds me of coral under the sea... even has a blue colour to it. Neat.
Thanks Iggy!
And another while I'm at it. Just feel inspired today… :)

lovely start lindsayb!
Deep into evening twilight, I took a time exposure of these sheer curtains from inside the darkened room. During the exposure, I fired a flash unit which was covered by a red plastic cup (finally thinking of some ideas from last month's assignment, too) , and this was held off to one side.

not lit by a side light, just overhead light. This is leftover steak, sausage, baked potato, and grilled mushrooms from Saturday night. I cubed it up and re-heating in a black iropn skillet.

Great shots everyone. I have enjoyed the wide variety of textures.

Matt k- I can really feel the texture in that woollen hat and the driftwood butt is rough but sexy.
Casil - dig the texture on the ropes - well done.
JR215 - I can feel the grit on the floor and tools.
Jas - nice selective focus and texture on the shells
runmonty - that fruit looks like a brain - very cool. Steel wire is captured in a fab way!
Always fascinating to see what everyone comes up with! Great stuff. :)
as soon as I saw this I thought of the assignment!
