I thought it would be cool to post your photo walks here.
That's funny. I signed up for this one as well. Can't wait. These are always lots of fun and produce interesting photos.
Jarod Polin (FroKnowsPhoto) is doing one in New Orleans in December. Tickets are $500 each. There are only 25 tickets total. I just cannot pull the trigger on it. I think about the lens I could buy with that $500.
I am sure the Jarod Polin walk is great, but this is a free thing done worldwide, all on the same day by as many participants as can be mustered. I think each walk has 50 person limit though.
Mike, I will be looking for you, but did not see your name on the roster. :(

Sounds like fun...BUT.... looked up the one in our area and it still has 49 openings. Three waterfalls to be shot, is what the theme is. May sound cool to some, but it has been done oh so many times here. We are surrounded by waterfalls, (22 to be exact), and people living in the nearest city have to drive/walk by waterfalls everyday to get anywhere in town. Hopefully he gets a bunch to turn out for this, but most photographers I know in area, are waterfall exhausted.
You should comment to the organizer if you haven't already... Maybe they'll change their mind since no one is signing up?

The Gardening crew at Beaulieu Gardens. The entire crew was on site today and asked to have their photo taken. (Kismet!)

These workman were sitting in a row having lunch and their gear was so colouful. I actually asked for the photo and told them to ignore me. My fave of the day and probably the one i will send in. :)

Well, thanks AT. I don't know. I haven't submitted anything yet. The kids on the slide seem out of focus to me, so even though the slide itself is sharp, I missed the focus. My other shots are much sharper. Anyway, I'm still considering and trying to reprocess.
Well, as it turns out, I contacted my Photo Walk leader and they did not receive my photo. I did not expect to win but I wanted my photo in the contest. Very disappointed.
