New Toy

Life's been busy but maybe things will get a little easier now that my photo editing should be faster. I just upgraded from an Intel Core 2 Duo (7 years old) to a 4th generation i5 with 8GB of RAM and a 1 TB hard drive.

I just opened the box tonight and I am still getting used to it, however, it's starting. Oh, and I broke down and bought Lightroom 5, so now I'll be trying to figure that out too....

Hopefully my new toy (hardware and software) will inspire me to take more photos... January/February is such an UNinspirational time for me. :(

Congrats on the new toy and the conversion to Adobe.

Have fun, Iggy. I expect you'll put out some great stuff, especially once you're past the learning curve.

Thanks, everyone. I'm starting to like Lightroom already but it's going to take a while to get used to it. Change is interesting but not always easy :)
