That is crazy. I guess the cops in Nanaimo have nothing better to do that find some obscure law to give a ticket for. Either he (or she) was trying to make some ticket quota, or the city is that desperate for the revenue.
We are going back a while but I have been ticketed for leaving my car door unlocked. That was also incredibly frustrating.
Motor Vehicle legislation is provincial and I can see nothing like this in Nova Scotia's legislation. I agree, it's ridiculous.
When I owned a convertible I always left it unlocked, what was in the glove box was cheaper than the roof.
