Calgary Lilac Festival

This is actually quite hard. You go from bright sunlight on the street to low light in the tented areas but it was good practice and I learned a few things.
Also it is very crowded. Here is a street shot:

Ok that is horrible! But luckily for me Calgarians give performers a a lot of space so it is easy to move in with a camera.

So my plan was to take a long lens and capture faces. It was a good exercise and I could use a whole lot more practice but here are a few.

I do agree with the others, some great shots. Nice and clear and really enjoy the variety of people shot.
