Had to travel 60kms to see the dentist yesterday. Decided not to bring the camera..it was a fast fast trip.
On the way we were stopped by two bears..as they decided to cross the road right in front of us. An owl just sitting on a post right beside the road..just soaking up the evening sun. 5 moose and 2 deer. What the!!!!
Now I'm going to bring my camera and not see anything!!!! Boooooo
That's too funny Kat...I thought about bringing my camera to work today and didn't.....so wouldn't ya know this morning 3 really big, beautful mule deer antlers and all strolled along the 10th green right by the clubhouse not in any particular hurry.... :wall-an: The other day there was a red tailed hawk sitting on a light standard and I was able to get really close to him and he didn't even budge!
So yesterday I had the nice buck on the side of the bike path that watched me pass by. Today I spooked two ducks up out of the grass one was so close that the water coming off her wings sprayed my face like a morning mist. Then a Bald Eagle flew down the canal towards me turned and flew up into a tree beside the path. As I turned for my last stretch the grass was wet from the evening rain and sparkled like a field of diamonds.

I'm not commuting anywhere these days but I DID get a Wii!! Lol, I don't think there are any games on here but still! I love my Wii XD It's awesome!
Today the eagles beakfast was not happy as it was carried away.

I was out yesterday for an hour by the river and i have 5 right now that are all itching at the same time! 2 on the back of my neck, 2 on each wrist, one on my left calf and i only have 2 hands! Anyone got any good anti-itch remedies out there?
Those suckers eat me alive ever since I quit smoking 10 years ago....i love summer and shorts but I hate mosquitoes and I'm not fond of DEET either.
You only got 5!!! Ha ha..played softball tonight..got 5 in the first 5 mins!! :(
Afterbite works for me. Not 100% but enough.
Yah..I used to smoke..they never seemed to bug me then...!
I use Afterbite also but it's effects are mixed at best...I tried benadryl cream too and that works okay sometimes.
Nothing sure fire though i've found so far....:cry-an:
I usually don't find mine to itchy..cept for those ones between the toes and fingers. Nothing ever works for those areas!
Just read to use scotch tape... hmm..never heard of that one before..almost worth a shot..lol.
I'll make sure to take a photo of that when we go camping next ;)
Remember if you're going into the woods take a wide angle lens so you can get all of the mosquito in the shot.Quote:
