This is a concept I was working on with a writer friend before a giant game software company got him writing for big coin :) I still like the idea of using photography as a foundation for a comic strip. Anyway here's a link to the tests I did

not sure of what I think of this. it has potential that's for sure. I do like the one with the plane
Thanks Bambi...These were strictly graphics tests (I should have mentioned) Only ever intended for visual consumption. I just played with random images then threw in gibberish text to show how the speech balloons would look. In no way is the text or graphics selection intended to tell a coherent story:)
I think this is a really cool idea!! I'd love to see a "real" one when it's ready.
I think it's neat but having a hubby that draws..I seem to prefer the artistic value of that before this..not saying that this doesn't have it..but it just doesn't feel the same. For ME! LOL..
I originally wanted to explore a style that I'd seen in the mag "Heavy Metal" and that idea is still cooking in the dark corners. With my buddy as a writer and a more simple shooting artistic style, I was hoping to forge a readership of some kind before the mag approach. The style I'd like to use, and the writers preference too, would require a full on production department and be somewhat a full time job which I would very much be into but as dreams go, it's a pretty tall order :D
