Google Street

It's way cool but also kind of creepy.

Thought I would try it out by checking on an address I used to live at many years ago in Vancouver. South Granville Apartments. The old place is looking pretty good actually. :)

Am I sure this is the right place? Yep:

Is this new in Canada?

We've had it year or 2 now I guess. I've used it to look at locations to see if it looks like somewhere I might like for photos :)

I looked up my house and at least they where here in spring so it looks nice.

Somewhat. The cameras came through last Spring/Summer but they've only recently (3 months or so) gotten the images up to be seen. Don't remember the exact date but it took them a while to cross the border and find us!

I'll agree, this is creepy, but also quite useful on occasion. Hey, that's my hood!

No street view for where I lived Chard alberta - Google Maps
