I've seen that vid before. Danny is a Trials/Freerider. It's a specific genre of MTB'ing. The bike is built for doing that stuff. High bottom bracket, short cranks, no seat, that sort of thing.
We do Cross Country riding/racing ... different genre altogether. These guys sit and watch us and can't believe how we keep going for hour after hour.
We do jumps and climb over piles of logs and things on the bike but nothing as extreme as these guys do.
Here's some links to previous threads I put here on MTB'ing where I was official photographer ...
The Insomnia 24hr ... features AntZ http://www.photography.ca/Forums/f21...-day-4150.html
Mt Perry 6hr http://www.photography.ca/Forums/f21...-6hr-3988.html

cool shots MA. my horse would flatly refuse some of that terrain. Makes him smarter then me some days. :)
Yeh we ride over and down some wild stuff sometimes. I've ridden down hills that are just baby head sized rocks so steep that my stomach was on my seat and my butt cheeks were getting tickled by the rear tyre!
That's only a small jump AntZ is on there though ... we tackle much larger ones than that too.
Stunts is not my thing. Last time I popped a "Wheelie" I went straight off the back of the bike, which isn't much fun when your feet are clipped to the pedals.:wall-an:
I bet that guy makes more money riding his bike than I make at my work :headslap:
Ok not to hijack this thread, but check this out!!!
We saw this last week in class during our wheelchair section!!
