Hooded Woman 2

Another shot taken for this month's old master's lighting assignment.

Very interesting image, Marko. Only thing I have is that the hand, being that much closer to the lens, seems really big for a woman ... in relationship to the face. Maybe it's just my imagination ....

I find these shots very uncomfortable to look at Marko, which isn't a bad thing...

Thinking off the top of my head, the scene topic is almost in contradiction with the very clean lighting, here you have a women who is afraid and scared.... ...Do you think this shot would work with a more low-key approach... a darker background and more shadows? (maybe not with the old masters theme in mind...)

I like the darker one somehow, myself. Seems to go with the dark subject matter to my eye.

As JAS said .... perder the darker one as it it adds to the dark subject matter.

Yeah, that's good, it's quite subtle but imo makes a big difference.
