Set No Limits #2
Following on from my Set No Limits thread here http://www.photography.ca/Forums/new...treply&t=19430
It was a huuuge effort to get around the track. The wheelchair was brand new when we started ... it had 5mm less rubber on the wheels when we got around, it was that steep! We used the rope to hold the chair from getting away from us going down (it took two of us to hold it) and to pull the chair up as two pushed to get back up the top where we were camped.
At the top, my dad kept saying "leave me here" you guys can't get me down there, it's too steep" ... but when you get us 3 brothers together the crazy comes out ;)
We had countless people come over and shake our hands (most shook dad's hand actually) and tell us how cool (and crazy) it was we were doing this.
We'd driven about 13 -14 hours to be there and see this circuit ... it was the first time EVER that we'd all been away together ... we were going to let a small mountain and a 6.2 km race circuit stop us :)
Here's a few snaps from the IPHONE from the week away ...

Gives an idea of the height we had to deal with. We had to get dad all the done there to town level ... and back up

With Graeme's nerve issues he couldn't use his arms to help ... but his legs were ok so the rope came in handy

We found a drunk bloke and with a quick bit of reverse psychology from me he decided to prove he WAS a man by pushing dad up the steepest section! I love playing with drunks!

Yes, it's true ... it's me! Here I'm showing my wife back home how much I love her.
And the T-shirt says "It's not that I forget ... it's just that I don't care"

After several days of motor racing, the big day arrived.
At 5am I was here digging in and staking our claim beside the track. Took me an hour. Then I settled in for the 2 hour wait for the racing to start
