I like the shot, Scorpio. Its very uniqueness gives it visual impact and demonstrates great creativity.

I agree with tegan on this shot , nicely done...and I also like your Hemmingway's window shot scorpio_e!
Marko
scorpio - wow! that guy looks alot like ozzy osborne!
I just finished creating this up for a student.. I really liked the way it turned out, so I thought I would kill 2 birds with one stone by posting it here due to the fact that it is severe manipulation and share it too. :)

I'm certainly missing something because I do not see the relationship of the photos to the particular student: Matt Hays at the top.
Tegan
Understandably. Matt is camera shy...so he allowed to me to photograph him by photographing his hand holding his class ring. (Which I really liked.) So, this is his class picture from me .... I guess it is in the details. hmmmm. Funny how some people love to be photographed and others, not so much. He is a nice looking kid, too. At any rate, I put the photo here because I manipulated it to bits. Doy - :lightbulb I should have said all of that when I originally submit the thread. TT can be very dense. Oh well... Thanks for bringing it up, Tegan.... :)
I think I would have tried to take a different approach such as at least having him in the background in a school shot or related to a sport or something that he really liked.
If you can get him to talk about why he is camera shy it becomes possible to shoot around many perceived personal problems related to looks or whatever.
Ask him, how he sees himself and figure out if it is possible to shoot that.
For that matter you could combine some school shot already taken with a special effect composite.
Combining people skills with photographic skills, it should be possible to solve a problem with a camera shy person in a flattering manner that includes an image of the person.

Tegan - great insight and advice! Thanks so much!
