Nice start MB! Really like the processing and mood here.
Took this one this weekend at the train station in Essex, CT

I like both of these.
MB that is an interesting collection of stores- Sri Lankan, Jamaican or Brazilian??
Tough decision to make Jason - which thread? shadows or street, shadows or street
Great shot Iggy!!!! Great use of the harsh light in your favor. This is my favorite image in this thread so far.
Once again, like the others, this could be in the shadows thread as well.
I like the moodiness here jason!
Cool scene Iggy - totally dig the comp.
Feeling the benevolence of the Chinnok.

Not sure if this is "street" per se as I was on the commuter train when I took it this morning, but here goes anyway: Motion Man

I didn't shoot it this month, but I just now processed it (a forgotten image recovered)

Dig the 'motion man' shot !
I almost never shoot street stuff but found an alibi in the bride and groom whose wedding I was shooting. I took them for a quick tour of the byward market area of Ottawa and spotted this on the way back.
I dig the motion Doug G.
Nice moment Jas
Lines and comp looking good AT
Interesting moment you captured CSB
Shot this one just yesterday - I'm fairly sure I'll have more to post though.

I've discovered that there are photo blinds all up and down Broad Street in Augusta. One way traffic in downtown Augusta is divided by islands of parking that is about two feet below street level. So, when you park your vehicle you can move to the front of it and sit down flat on your butt and look out of a 18”x 36” window created by the concrete barricades that puts your lens right at street level. In fact, a long lens would be in the street. You can see the underside of passing traffic. It provides a perspective that you may not have noticed If I hadn't mentioned it. I'm gonna play around with it some, I think.

I am away from home at the moment and unable to spend much time contributing to the forum, but here is a quick upload on the fly to get a shot in here before the end of the month.

Dancing In The Street. Don't know if this qualifies since it's not a candid. But it is photography in the streets.

I am not too sure if these work, but as I did take them for the assignment I thought I would post them anyway.

I really like the second one, RM.
I know I'm a little late posting for this assignment, but these were taken in May.
This was my first outing trying out my new 40mm pancake lens. I think I'm going to need a bit more practice perfecting this.
