more really cool shots! You've got me thinking now MA, as I have a wide selection of feathers that I use to tie flys with for fishing.
I've REALLY been struggling with my photography lately. I went to The Camera Store when I was in Calgary at the beginning of the month, and picked up the accessory kit for my LensBaby - hoping to expand my use of it. (awesome store, BTW) I shot a whole bunch indoors with the macro and tele bits, but was not getting it right.
I carried the camera all month, and have gone in the field two days to try to wrap my head around the block. Finally something clicked yesterday, so I feel a bit better.
Here's one of the LensBaby shots, I tried for lemonade on this one:

Here's a couple of prickly characters enjoying the view on a cold day in Halifax:

Wow - love the blue one from hodaka - it is really great!
Cleaning out my camera bodies and doing thorough cleaning of all my lenses and other equipment. Will be doing some photography I hope over the next few days I am in Cornwall. Anyway I saw the Brownie and popped off a shot and ah, sort of ok with it but this was the only photo I took and now all my gear is away and not looking to pull it all out again after is was all safely packed and put away for travel. Next time I need to take 2 or 3 shots in my dimly lit office and maybe turn on a light, use a flash or something lol. This frame I used once before, thought I would give it another go. I never use frames but I like this one and since I won't be printing it or using it for anything else I thought I would see how it looked.

welcome MiriamC. This looks nice and soft :)
This is the best I could come up with, taken with an old EF100-300 from the early 90's. I can't seem to get the barb to not be so pixelated & over sharpened and still bring out the detail of the hoar frost.
I finally got out and shot something for this assignment. Yes, sorry....yet another frosty vegetation shot...
These shots are really wonderful everyone :highfive:
Blade of grass with frost:
I see many of us Albertans took advantage of the hoar frost today for the assignment! :highfive:
