May 2010 - Photography assignment - Vintage

I Love to shoot vintage cars. I found this little jem on the streets of Nakusp this last long weekend. Does anyone know what it is? A 1948.....

From the California trip, an abandoned barn in the hills of Soledad. One of the only photos that needs a sepia treatment to bring out the emotion.

Stonehurst is a small fishing village in Nova Scotia. When I saw this photo it seemed to fit this treatment.

After several months with my camera functioning as a door stop, I think we are finally coming to some kind of a mutual understanding.

I liked the vintage theme, but it took a while to find something vintage. "Thems" is my shoes and my piano music - so they certainly count as vintage by age, if not by looks.

The second one, I just couldn't resist just because he is cute.

Vintage bone china set of dishes we inherited several years ago. Circa 1920s. Tea cup and saucer are nearly translucent and very reflective.
We don't use them very often and don't put them in the dishwasher when we do. Mike

Wow! you can see the inside design through the outside. They are transparent. Now, even the "good" china is made offshore.

lovely I always had a problem with decimal point when using one. OK if I knew approx what result should be.
