hi Crystal
be careful. I bought one too and the serial number turned out to be invalid. working my way through the dispute process now.
Yep, I hate to say it, but "If it sounds too good to be true"... A MUCH more cost-effective option (Though perhaps slighly grey from an ethical perspective) is to purchase the educational version through a local university/college if you know someone with bookstore privleges. These run $2-300 and aren't upgradable, BUT a full-version upgrade usually costs about that, so it's no real loss.
I hope yours works!! Good luck with the dispute Bambi, let us know how it turns out!
Ya it totally doesn't.
Not only is the serial number invalid, but the software cd was blank. It was sealed.
Oh well live and learn. :P
Bambi, did it happen to be from NB?
Thanks for the heads up Tirediron....
if you payed with paypal you will be able to get your money back. this is why I only use paypal on Ebay.
Cyrstalb, why yes it was from NB. I have an open dispute as they have 10 days to respond.
I think that I need to report this person to Ebay and have them removed. :mad:
I only pay thru Paypal too. I did open a dispute, the person said they would send a new one. The dispute says open until Nov.17th, so if the new one they send doesn't work either, I'll just open a claim against them.
absolutely! at least your seller responded. mine did not. which will, in the end make it easier. I have written documentation from adobe that it is not valid so I can make my point.
:mad: as my husband says: it's a bad idea to mess with me because I won't let go!
I just got my refund:clap:
Now back to the drawing board......:headslap:
YAY :clap::clap:
and
dang! :mad:
