My Dahlias

I love red...especially red dahlias...this might lack sharpness (seems to be my downfall but I am trying!

I love dahlias! My Mum gows them in her backyars and I always make an effort on the way to the airport heading back to Calgary to stop at at least one roadside stand to pick up a bunch! Not a fan of the earwigs that hide in them though.... :yuck:

I like the detail in the petals. I always have trouble with red or yellow flowers as the color seems to be very vivid and flares on me. Purples and oranges work great for me.
